This Inter-Active call feature can be extended to "phone-enable"
an existing notification service. An Interactive call server
can be hooked up to an existing financial application that
already notifies through email for example. Then instead of
receiving an email, which requires the user to connect to
a PC, a phone call gets to the customer by calling a specified
number and playing an automated message. This application
enables a callback option to their broker, or just listening
or verifying information by selecting phone options using
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology. This could be
used in a stock trading service, banking service or any business
platform that performs or desires automated notification.
